허전하고 우울할 때

조용히 생각에 잠길 때

어딘가 달려가 닿고 싶을 때

파란 하늘을 볼 때

그 하늘에 하얀 구름이 둥둥 떠가면 더욱더

저녁노을이 아름다울 때

아름다운 음악을 들을 때

둥근 달을 바라볼 때

무심히 앞산을 바라볼 때

한줄기 시원한 바람이 귓가를 스칠 때

빗방울이 떨어질 때

외로울 때

친구가 필요할 때

떠나온 고향이 그리울 때

이렇게 세상을 돌아다니는

내 그리움의

그 끝에

당신이 서 있었습니다.

when looking up at the blue sky, and even more so

when white clouds drift across that sky—

when the evening glow is breathtaking,

when listening to beautiful music,

when gazing at the full moon,

when absentmindedly looking at the front mountain,

when a cool breeze brushes past your ear,

when raindrops begin to fall,

when lonely,

when a friend is needed,

when the hometown left behind is yearned for—

at the very end of my longing

that wanders about this world,
