구름

 

                     천상병

저건 하늘의 빈털터리 꽃
뭇 사람의 눈길 이끌고
세월처럼 유유하다.

갈 데만 가는 영원한 나그네
이 나그네는 바람 함께
정처 없이 목적 없이 천천히

보면 볼수록 허허한 모습
통틀어 무게 없어 보이니
흰색 빛깔로 상공 수놓네.

That is the sky's empty-handed flower,

drawing the gaze of many people,

drifting leisurely like time.

 

An eternal traveler who only goes where it goes,

this traveler, with the wind,

drifts slowly without destination or purpose.

 

The more you look, the more empty its form appears,

altogether seeming to have no weight,

embroidering the sky with its white color.
