누구라도 문구점

                                       이해인


나는 가끔 상상 속의 문구점 주인이
될 때가 있습니다
가게 이름은 누구라도 들어와서
원하는 물품들뿐 아니라
기쁨과 희망과 사랑도 담아 가는
´누구라도 문구점´ 이라 지으면 어떨까요?

덮어놓고 새것만 선호하지 말고
작은 것이라도 자기가 이미 사용하는
물품들과 끝까지 길들이고 정들이며
좋은 친구가 되는 아름다움을
키워야 한다고 일러주겠습니다.

꼭 사야할 물건이 없을 때라도
평소에 나눈 정 때문에 길을 가다가도
잠시 들렀다 갈 수 있는
평범하지만 삶의 멋을 아는
성실한 단골손님들을
많이 만들어가고 싶습니다.

Anyone's Stationary Shop

Sometimes, I become the owner of an imaginary stationery shop.

Wouldn't it be wonderful to name the store "Anyone's Stationery Shop,"

where people can come in and not only find the items they desire but also leave with joy, hope, and love?

 

I would teach them that we shouldn't blindly prefer new things.

Instead, we should cultivate the beauty of cherishing and becoming good friends with even small things we already own, by taming and growing fond of them until the very end.

 

Even when there's nothing specific to buy,

I want to foster many loyal customers who are ordinary yet appreciate the style of life.

These customers, driven by the affection we've shared,

can stop by even when just passing by.
