청백의 빛으로

사람은 청백해야 한다

몸도 마음도 청백해야 한다

삶도 관계도 청백해야 한다

 

이 아침의 나라에 빛이 있다면

백두대간 여명의 희고 푸른 빛

희망은 언제나 그 희고 푸른 빛

 

뜻을 가진 자는 청백해야 한다

시작도 마침도 청백해야 한다

한 점 어둠이 전부를 물들이지 않도록

 

사람은 청백해야 한다

세상이 그럴수록 청백해야 한다

나날이 희고 푸른 빛으로

With the Light of Blue and White

A person must be clear and white.

Both body and mind must be clear and white.

Life and relationships, too, must be clear and white.

 

If there is light in this Land of the Morning,

It is the white and blue light of dawn over the Baekdudaegan mountains.

Hope is always that white and blue light.

 

Those with a purpose must be clear and white.

From the beginning to the end, they must be clear and white,

Lest a single spot of darkness stains the whole.

 

A person must be clear and white.

The more the world turns otherwise, the more one must be so—

Day by day, in the light of white and blue.
