하늘

 

                  안도현

 

 

마음속의

빗장을 풀고

외출에서 돌아온
숱한 기억들이
꿈꾸는 법을 익히고 있었다.

마을에는
새도 날지 않았고
오랜 기다림이 끝나는 시간
영글지 않은
꿈의 날개가 파닥이는
無邊(무변)의 기슭에서
자유와
나의 꿈은
하늘빛 수채화를 그린다.

하늘은 설레이고
그리움이 부풀어오르는 날이면
나는 또 한번
세 발 자전거를 타고
여섯 살 적
하늘빛을 찾고 있었다.

The Sky

 

                               Ahn Do-hyun

 

The latch on my heart is unfastened.

 

Countless memories,

returned from their outing,

were learning to dream.

 

No birds flew over the village,

and as a long wait ended,

on the shore of boundless space,

where the unripe wings of a dream fluttered,

freedom and my dreams

painted a sky-blue watercolor.

 

The sky makes my heart flutter,

and on days when longing swells,

I get on my tricycle once more and look for

the sky-blue light of

when I was six years old.
