어느 수채화

 

                      이해인

 

 

비 오는 날
유리창이 만든
한 폭의 수채화

 

선연하게 피어나는
고향의
산마을

 

나뭇잎에 달린
은빛 물방울 속으로
흐르는 시냇물 소리

물결따라
풀잎 위엔
무지개 뜬다

 

그 우으로 흘러오는
영원이란 음악

보이지 않는 것들을
잡히지 않는 것들을
속삭이는 빗소리

 

내가 살아온 날
남은 날을
헤아려 준다

창은 맑아서
그림을 그린다

A Watercolor

On a rainy day,

the window pane

creates a watercolor painting.

 

Vividly appearing,

my hometown's

mountain village.

 

Into the silver dewdrops

hanging from the leaves,

a flowing stream's sound.

Following the waves,

a rainbow rises

over the blades of grass.

 

Floating above it all,

the music of eternity.

The sound of rain whispers

of things unseen,

of things intangible.

 

It counts the days

I have lived

and the days that remain.

The window is clear,

so it paints.
